It’s been quite a while since I reviewed any Gamdias product and to my surprise a Gamdias HERMES RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard came my way and it’s quite a lovely one.
What you get with the HERMES is a full-sized RGB backlit keyboard, mind you that it’s individually lit so you can do a whole lot of customization.
The keys are with cross-type stems so you can customize it further with Cherry MX compatible keycaps of your choice. As you can see this model uses Kailh blue switch, which so happens it’s also the only switch type available for it.
The Gamdias HERMES RGB keyboard comes with an arm rest, not a big one and not a detachable one either but I find that it does come in handy.
Lastly the keyboard comes with the usual leg for higher angle preference and the leg comes with rubber coating for grip.
Below are the specs of the keyboard, what they did not specify is that the this mechanical keyboard uses Kailh switches.
The Gamdias HERMES RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard works just like any other mechanical keyboard but what makes it stand out from the crowd is the Hera software that comes with a buck load of customization
Convinced yet? It’s one awesome piece of software that levels up the keyboard’s functionality.
Gamdias even provided a simulation on the official product page for lighting customization.
If there be any flaw I can pin on this keyboard is the very slightly loose key caps and I’m comparing it to 2 of my other mechanical keyboards which are the Ducky DK9008G2 and Cooler Master MasterKeys Pro S.
Touch aside I think the keys look great, the backlights shine through and all keycaps are properly lit.
The Gamdias HERMES RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard retails for as low as RM 388 over at Lazadaand it comes with 1-year warranty – what else can you ask for from a feature rich full-sized mechanical keyboard with RGB lights on individual keys?
